Happy Valentine’s Day Queens! What are you getting into today? Single or taken, we all deserve love and some fun in our lives, right? Today, I’m sharing 4 fun things to do in Los Angeles for Valentine’s Day 2020.
Consider these activities today or this weekend:
1. Dine at your favorite restaurant! Kevin and I love Maestros, but there are others we enjoy too that aren’t as pricey. Check out Hotville Chicken, Alta Adams or Crimson for great food with a variety of price points!
2. Get your groove on at a concert! Tonight R&B singer, Charlie Wilson performs at the Microsoft Theatre in DTLA, 8pm.
3. Go see a romantic movie. “The Photograph”, starring actress Issa Rae and actor LaKeith Stanfield, opens in theatres today. A friend of mine who saw a pre-screening of the film described it as, “a classic”. I love a great love story!
4. Visit the Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF). The PAFF showcases over one hundred quality new films and other 100 fine artists and unique craft persons from all over the world. The event began Thursday, February 13th and ends, Sunday, February 23rd.
Enjoy your day loves, and I want to share my favorite scripture for this day and ALL days:
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Until next time, LOVE and light!
